English Hospitality Program – The Westin Langkawi
This is a 12 week program which has been carried out since 10 weeks ago. We completed our written English examination for Westin staff today. This exam carries 30% of assessment value. The other 70% shall be their presentation next week. Out of 22 candidates, only 8 persons made it above 50%. The top scorer is Fendik Suef who achieved 88%, followed by Sri Wulan Dari 82%, Suriana Jamil 74%, Mohd Zulkhairi 62% and Sylvia Francis 58%.
This is an assessment based on their knowledge of grammar. It doesn’t mean that those who failed are not able to speak English. There is a potential that they may be speaking broken English. It has been warned that this test is easy to fail.. right???
But please don’t be despair k.. coz next week’s presentation carries 70% of your final assessment. Congratulations Fendik, Sri and Suriana.. hope you will continue to perform great presentation next week… All the best..
We would like to inform all members that Malay Weekly lesson will commence on 1st June 2010. The lessons will be presented in 12-series, and shall continue with another 12-series after the first series have been completed. Lessons will include exercises and answers, plus videos of instruction.
